Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Rumford, RI.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $77249.97 - $113299.96 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
Primary Function
- To assist in all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for the Aerospace East Providence, RI Plant.
Essential Functions
- Lead the monthly close process including journal entry completion, on-time reporting, variance analysis, and account reconciliations.
- Support monthly forecasting and annual profit plan processes
- Establish and monitor compliance with internal controls, assist in financial audit activities and balance sheet reviews
- Responsible for tracking plant capital spending, capital appropriation request submission, and maintaining Oracle projects/fixed assets
- Manage R&D/new product development time/cost tracking & accounting process
- Perform standard cost rolls, analyze gross utilization, work order and purchase price variance
- Review cost out projects, material economics, and maintain cost out database
- Support Accounts Payable/Intercompany aging resolution
- Manage payments of royalties and rebates
- Perform Sales & Use tax review and prepare monthly return
- Perform Payroll related activities including transmitting of weekly/semi-monthly payroll, reconciliation, and problem resolution
- Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports to support operations
- Lead annual Physical Inventory/support cycle count process
- Reconcile/monitor scrap sales
- Take initiative to solve problems, improve processes, and implement new procedures
- Ad hoc assignments as required
Qualifications:
Required/Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
- 2 years of experience in an Accounting or Finance role required
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and financial operating systems
- This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). - No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Rumford, RI will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
