What to expect:

Pay Rate: $40/per hour + mileage reimbursement

This is a 3 - 6 month full-time temp to perm, contract position for a CMM Quality Inspector. Once on the team, you will be deployed through SQA’s operations center based on client needs and each supplier’s production schedule. Additionally, you will be added to SQA's database as part of an elite group eligible for additional projects in the future.

What you’ll do:

- Support CMM inspection & operating efforts.
- Daily inspection of complex machined or mechanical parts
- Nesting parts for a more efficient inspection
- Understand the proper fixturing of CMM optical

What you’ll need:

- 8+ years of hands-on inspection experience with precision machined and or mechanical parts
- Knowledge and hands-on experience working with various inspection tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, etc.)
- CMM programming experience; CMM Calypso experience is a plus
- Experience with GD&T
- Be able to interpret standard manufacturing drawings based on industry and commodity standards
- Must be a U.S Citizen and willing to undergo a background check

Note: Mechanical inspectors at this level are capable of validating dimensions (total tolerances >/=.005” with Minimal GD&T validation) utilizing standard hand tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gages)
