Senior Logistics Analyst (Technical Writer)

Duties are as follows:

Senior Logistics Analyst (Technical Writer)

• Perform XML tagging on Blackhawk technical publications

• Review OEM or contractor technical publications for MIL-STD 40051 compliance

• Conduct technical manual verification

• Participate in technical manual validation

• Manage multiple technical manual processes

• Must have experience with Army rotary wing aircraft

• Must be familiar with Army publications policy, guidance, and Military Standards

• Must have excellent skills with MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, and Adobe Suite

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance.

Experience/Education

• Education: BA, English preferred

• Experience: BS/BA+8 years or HS+11 years technical writing and editing experience

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Microsoft Office software and use of a Desk Top Computer.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands: Office environment, sitting, stoops, bend, kneel, walk, have full dexterity, correctable vision, and the ability to comprehend and follow written instructions.

Safety Environment: Comply with all site safety and security regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,972.87 - $75,000.00 per year
