The Sr. Manager, Experience & Engagement will focus on managing the company intranet and developing strategies and implementing programs and processes to improve employee engagement and the employee experience across the organization to create an Inspiring Workplace.
Additionally, this position will spearhead a team of collaborative storytellers that aim to connect, engage, inspire, and inform with the delivery of information. You will develop and drive the overall communications strategy and content for both our internal and external audience.
You will work as a part of a larger, cross-functional team and will report to the Vice President of Marketing & Engagement. As part of this team, you need to passionately communicate in a way that speaks to Healogics People-first, Patient-centered mindset, both internally and externally in an effort to gain maximum engagement.
Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:00AM- 5:00PM, No Holidays and No Weekends!
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Salary for this position generally ranges between $69300 - $85000 / year. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications: education, experience, geography as well as operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Manages direct reports. This includes interviewing, hiring, motivating, coaching, counselling, establishing performance expectations, and conducting performance reviews.
- Responsible for the development and management of the front and back end of the company-wide intranet to streamline communications and ultimately maximize employee engagement.
- Creates processes and procedures to streamline content and content creation for the intranet to communicate company news, information and initiatives in a timely and professional manner.
- Responsible for developing strategies to improve employee engagement, and implementing and managing programs designed to foster it, such as employee recognition days and other activities aimed at creating an Inspiring Workplace.
- In tandem with other department leaders, is responsible for managing the content and effectiveness of internal and external communications and the intranet, ensuring messaging is aligned to the employee engagement strategy and Healogics culture, and stratifying messages to optimize audience absorption.
- Responsible for developing project plans for engagement initiatives and programs and identifying risks and ensuring projects are on track to meet key milestones and deadlines.
- Responsible for reviewing and proofreading communications, including the intranet content, to maintain brand, adhere to Healogics tone and style guidelines, and partnering with key stakeholders to adjust and correct content as needed.
- Partners with key stakeholders to develop, implement and enhance employee engagement, internal communications and intranet strategies and processes, including execution, stakeholder readiness, analysis and results, gaining alignment on proposed changes to existing or new processes with senior leadership.
- Create an environment where employees can easily obtain information and key messages that help them perform their best work, connect with colleagues, and deepen their understanding of our culture.
- Create campaigns and compelling communications using a variety of media and channels to increase awareness and engagement
- Research the best channel mix, communication mediums, and cadence needed to reach and engage key personas
- Responsible for external announcements, press releases, media inquiries, and prepare talking points
- Continuously measure the performance of communications efforts, adjusting to optimize as necessary
- Lead and manage the Healogics intranet site, including the visual design, site navigation, content, and training
- Apply a marketing eye to the overall body of work ensuring all communications include a connection back to the Healogics brand, mission, and values
- Manage social media channels
- Assists Vice President, Marketing & Engagement and Chief People Officer as needed on special projects and assignments.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or Marketing
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Excellent writing skills combined with speed, flexibility and attention to detail; ability to understand and contribute to editorial planning across multiple platforms and an ability to turn complex ideas into stories
- Ability to develop strategies and recommendations based on data and trends; regularly incorporate learnings into your creative process and output
- Proven success working cross-functionally, articulating ideas across levels, managing differing points of view, influencing others while maintaining relationships
- Agility and can adjust quickly as new information becomes available or as priorities change
- The ability to design and develop effective communications using a variety of modern channels
