As a Senior Quality Assurance Manager on the Social Impact team, you will provide hands-on leadership for our quality assurance and accessibility developers as we roll out programs to improve the accessibility and inclusion of Indeed products. Our goal is to achieve a more inclusive and equitable future for millions of people around the world. As our engineering organization grows, you will help ensure we keep the talent bar high, and grow the skills and capabilities of your team. Responsibilities
- Own the function of Quality Assurance and speak up at any point to drive success in the process
- Provide hands-on leadership for your team while delivering continuous coaching for QA Engineers, QA Automation Engineers, and QA Managers
- Represent Quality Assurance through your leadership and vision for our growing organization at Indeed
- Remove roadblocks and recognizing the power of autonomy and ownership of each individual contributor in their teams
- Lead the team to not only assist with testing, but also investigate complicated production issues, and work on the product directly
Who You Are
- 7+ years experience in quality assurance or equivalent skill set; building and maintaining large scale, accessible systems.
- Experience leading a team of engineers; hiring, performance management, and career coaching.
- Passion for using data to make decisions and helping others to do so
- Able to collaborate effectively and act as a strategic partner in product decisions
- Thrives in growing teams and organizations
- Fosters an inclusive culture
- Passionate about helping job seekers who are facing barriers find employment that is rewarding and sustainable

Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

NYC Metro Area 153,000 - 223,000 USD per year
