ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking a Senior Alarm Room Operator in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Enid Oklahoma.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the operation of the Fire Department Communications Center.
• Maintains station log, records all incoming voice communications, and maintains the center in a clean and orderly manner.
• Trains Firefighters on the operation of equipment in the center.
• Must be able to speak clearly under stress and write legibly.
• Responsible for keeping TO’s, Regulations, Charts, Maps, and other items essential to the center’s operation in current status and in assigned location.
• Operates Base after hour’s communication system as required.
• Accepts after hour’s trouble calls, inputs into computer and/or contacts EMCS personnel for troubleshoot or scheduling of craftsman.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Mandatory Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain within 6 months of hire: Hazardous Materials Awareness accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• Ability to receive within 6 months of hire: Telecommunicator I & II accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• Upon hire, must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment
• Willing to work an atypical work schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident due to contract requirements.

Preferred Requirements:

• Prior dispatch experience
• Hazardous Materials Awareness accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• Telecommunicator I & II accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory position.
