Position Summary
The person in this position is responsible for product development and implementation activities - designing, coding, testing, integrating, implementing, and troubleshooting software products, support and works alongside other engineers to create innovative products/solutions. This position will also require to identify and implement testing application and service that best prepare the company to meet future business goals. Position is responsible for developing and troubleshooting programs and application developed in As400 technologies and maintain high overall product quality.
Essential Job Functions:
- Design, code, and unit test the customization using RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE
- Design, code and unit test the upgrade tool using RPGLE, CLLE and DB2/400
- Maintenance and improvement for all existing AS400 application.
- Onsite and offsite technical support for various customers.
- DB2 Database management and support.
- Provide guidance to customers and team members regarding the validation and testing of products to ensure execution quality assurance policies.
- Installing, Troubleshooting, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), documentation on IBM iSeries related Issues and Fixes.
- Developing and Integrating External Software to AS400 using ODBC/JDBC store procedure call and DB2400
- Design, development and implementation of multiple Web service Interface transactions using RPGLE
- Design, development, and implementation of multiple interfaces for ACSC using CLLE, C and FTP script.AS400 application debugging using STRDBG and STRSRVJOB
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Gaming industry experience preferred
- RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE and DB2 400
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of in RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE and Db2400 development
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other team members
- Good Analytical skill
- Detailed oriented and capable of working and completing tasks with minimal supervision
- Able to work and deliver in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Good trouble shooting skill in RPGLE, CLLE programs and As400 jobs
- Willing to travel customer places
- Experience with Windows desktop applications is required.
- Agile methodologies preferred
- Results oriented, risk taking and extensive multi-tasking ability
