As a Senior Software Engineer working in the Bose Software Organization, you will be part of a close-knit team within the world-wide Bose Automotive Software and Systems Group. You will be part of a team developing applications used by tuning engineers to deliver incredible, immersive in-cabin audio experiences. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing web-based full stack application platforms for modularity, scalability and portability.
- Develop user-facing features for automotive audio tuning applications
- Creating frameworks for communication that can support multiple physical layers and interfaces
- Develop reusable libraries for future tools and products
Required skills and experience:
- BS or MS in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Development experience using Python, C#
- Experience with a modern Front-End Web Development Framework (React, Angular, or Vue)
- Knowledge of web-sockets and other client server communication technologies
- GUI development and testing
- Digital-Signal Processing understanding
- Excellence problem solving skills, and debugging ability
- Excellence communication skills (written and oral) and well organized
Preferred skills and experience:
- Embedded software development experience
- Automotive industry experience
- MATLAB / Simulink experience
