The Senior Tech Support will enable and support the achievement of our global business objectives through innovative technical solutions that are reliable, secure, and cost effective across the development and infrastructure platforms. Work with all business functions to define, improve, support and drive efficiency improvements through business processes and functional objectives. They will provide 2nd line IT service and support for employees.


  • Supporting First line team delivering helpdesk support for internal users, ensuring network devices, peripherals and services are operational and are returned to service in the quickest possible time.
  • First line support is defined as IT support and/or actions that follow a documented process and is provided by external services provider.
  • Providing Second line helpdesk support when a documented process does not work or where low-level analysis is required to resolve an issue.

  • General Administration and creation of user accounts and their associated security to prevent unauthorized access to data or systems.

  • Install PC operating systems and applications to the correct documented standard ensuring standardization and quality of Incora IT equipment and systems.

  • General support and administration of the telephone and mobile device management systems, including the creation of user and device accounts.

  • Participation in improvement activities at department and company level to enhance business performance.

  • Comply with all relevant internal rules, policy, and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection, security and those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual.

  • Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job.

  • Demonstrated IT knowledge and experience is required; must have minimum 3 years experience

  • Dedicated to meeting or exceeding the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers with excellence

  • Maintains high level of professionalism and business ethics, in line with Incora’s values; Code of Conduct policies and all local, State and Federal laws

  • Performs all business matters in trusted manner, being recognized as a direct and truthful individual, which adheres to and upholds all Incora employment policies and procedures, Regulatory Compliance, safety and security policies, as applicable


Qualifications

Education/Qualifications/Training



Industry recognized qualifications, Microsoft accredited or equivalent (Microsoft MCSA/MCP ComptIA A+ IT) or significant experience


Diploma in Computer Studies or equivalent



Specific Experience


Some IT Helpdesk experience



Some PC Application/OS Support experience



Some Customer Support experience



Abilities Skills and Knowledge


Demonstrable knowledge of the implementation and management of desk top printing and Office applications


Strong knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems



Experience with using and troubleshooting Microsoft Office


Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration



Knowledge of warehouse systems (scanners, mobile printers)
