Spice Trade Brewing – Brewery & Kitchen

Job Brief

We are looking to hire FAST! Priority is given to those who can interview and start work immediately. We don't ask a lot of our servers in terms of sidework (we even have a cleaning crew come in at night!), we simply ask that you work hard during your shift and provide the best experience possible for our customers and your co-workers!

SPICE TRADE BREWING COMPANY is seeking passionate and HARD WORKING Servers in our brewery and kitchen in Greenwood Village, CO (DTC). This is truly an exciting opportunity to be a part of a very busy craft brewery. We are looking for folks who are passionate about beer and the customer experience.

The ideal candidates will have professional experience working as a Server in both a restaurant and bar setting. The position will require understanding of craft beer, excitement about beer and food pairing, and the ability to clearly communicate brewing techniques and flavor profiles to our Team and guests.

• Executes Spice Trade Brewing Company’s Training Protocols & Procedures.
• Be on time, in clean uniform, great attitude, energy, menu guru, and a Team Player.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of previous experience.
• Naturally LOVES to serve people.
• A true passion for high quality, unique craft beer, and delivering a true “F&B Culinarian Experience”.
• HIGH VOLUME service experience is a must! We are a high volume restaurant and you are expected to maintain customer satisfaction in a section of 9-13 tables.
• Weekend availability is a MUST
• The following minimum certifications (or ability to obtain them within 90 days)
• TiPS (or equivalent certification approved by CO & Tri-County Health Dept). (within the first 90 days of employment)
• Cicerone Certified Beer Server (within the first 90 days of employment).
• Flexible working hours including weekends, nights & holidays
• Perform all opening/running/closing side work per AM/PM.
• We utilize a Tip Pooling Program that rewards the entire Team, both FOH/BOH to build comradery, inclusiveness, and growth. Tips are pooled for the entirety of the pay period, service staff and kitchen are "tipped out" and the remainder is distributed equally to all servers by number of hours worked: no fighting for the "good sections" or being overwhelmed. We are a TEAM WORK environment, not every person for themselves.

Spice Trade Brewing Company (Formerly Yak & Yeti Brewpub) originally was located in Arvada, Colorado and has been brewing award winning beer since 2008. At Spice Trade Brewing Company, we brew unique beer styles inspired by culinary ingredients and traditions from around the world to highlight cultures through their flavors and ingredients. Our Arvada brewpub serves Indian, Nepalese, and Tibetan food and has won multiple awards including Denver A-List’s “Best Indian Restaurant in Denver 2016”. Our beers have won 16 various awards since opening including a GABF gold and silver medal. In 2020 Spice Trade Brewing Company will open a flagship restaurant & brewery in Greenwood Village, CO (DTC) that will expand our brewing capacity and include a kitchen serving a rotating selection of street food from around the world.
