Description:Rental Fleet Service Technician/Mechanic
Clinton, IA
Repairing and Testing equipment.
- Report recurring issues and attention to detail to improve equipment and the rental experience.
- Assist with training customers on equipment repair, operation, and maintenance.
- Welding and fabricating parts or pieces for equipment.
- Mounting equipment to a chassis.
- Testing electrical systems.
- Tying electrical from our equipment into chassis electrical system.
Requirements:
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to read schematics
- Welding and Fabrication Experience
- Background in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Experience with KW, Western Star and Freightliner chassis is a plus
Monday through Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm Overtime as needed.
Will train someone with mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
Starting pay up to $30 depending on experience (Welding experience and certificates, valid CDL, experience with fluid power, fabrication experience, etc.)
