Miller Brother Staffing Solutions has the immediate need of Sewing Machine Operators for 1st shift in Mohnton, PA.
Pay Rate - $16-$19/hour based on experience
Shift: 1st shift - Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
3 most important things:
- Candidate must have past experience with sewing preferably commercial sewing
- Seeking candidates looking for long-term fit
- Must be reliable to show up to work when scheduled
Job Duties/Requirements:
- Experience with industrial sewing on straight stitch & overlock machines
- Experience with cover stitch, single needle, hemming, and merrow stitch
- Read & follow basic drawings.
- Willing to work overtime on short notice.
- Able to work on feet long hours, kneel on floor & tables occasionally.
- Physically able to lift, push, pull.
- Read tape measure & know basic geometry & math.
- Helpful if they can set grommets & snaps
- Able to work in a fast-paced high-stress environment.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have reliable transportation to report to work each day
- Must have industrial/commercial sewing experience
Physical Demands: Lifting up to 30 pounds, must be able to squat, bend, twist, kneel, stand duration of shift
