Our Company is seeking a Shear and Brake operator to join our team. In this position, you will complete daily tasks independently or on a team. Attention to detail and blue print reading is a must.

Hours for this position are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm with potential overtime. Steel toe shoes and safety glasses are required. Successful candidates will have a steady work history and demonstrate the motivation to work.

Responsibilities:

• Performs various physical duties as assigned
• Maintain all safety standards
• Ability to set up shears and brakes with CNC functions and GANG punching
• Able to read blue prints
• Able to adjust materials to achieve the required part dimensions
• Must be able to pay close attention to detail

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be 18 years of age
• Good attendance and performance work history
• Motivated Self-Starter that can productively work alone and in teams/groups to solve problems and get your work done in a timely manner.
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Work in both climates, inside and outside
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
• Minimum 5 years Experience Required
• Blue Print Reading Required
