In Home Companions is an in-home care company that is looking for Home Health Aides that are independent, caring, and compassionate individuals. This position is a great way to make the lives of others easier by providing Companionship, Food Prep, Bathing, Errands, and other Non-Medical Services in the clients’ private homes. Flexible Scheduling - our HHA’s can work any amount of hours up to 50 per week!
8/10/12 hour shifts, weekday and weekend shifts available!
Paid Training at normal hourly rate!
HHA’s can work their way up from starting hourly rate!
Responsibilities:
Providing care to individuals in their own homes.
HHA will perform homemaking responsibilities, such as meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, and making beds.
Use fall prevention techniques to assure clients remain safe at all times.
Monitor the health of clients by checking vitals and reminding clients of their medications.
Personal care of the clients, such as grooming, dressing, and bathing assistance.
Become companions with the clients by running errands with them, getting their mail, playing games with them, and much more!
Requirements:
A qualified Home Health Aide must have the following:
Must have a reliable source of transportation, with a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
Must be able to pass criminal and driving background checks, and drug screens.
Must be able to lift 20+ pounds on a daily basis, stand for long periods of time, and keeping and regaining balance.
Must be 18+ years of age and legally able to work in the United States.
HHA must have an outgoing personality, able to work with our team of employees, and always wanting to grow with us!
