ECP, Inc in Woodridge, IL is looking for a Shipping Clerk for a very fast paced environment with heavy computer transactions. Exceptional multi-tasking skills and organizational skills are required to ensure the high level of accuracy and attention to detail required. The Shipping Clerk will prepare the paperwork for the transportation for all shipments including Bills of Lading. The position interfaces with Customer Service, Production, and the Supply Chain Team. Experience with Hazardous Materials paperwork is essential to the job.

Our heritage has been in the manufacturing, packaging and distribution of protective coatings and car wash and detailing supplies to car dealerships and agents and distributors.
Essential Duties:
- Prepares Bills of Lading and documents for shipping
- Enter Information in ERP computer system
- Maintains In-Process and Completed department Shipping files
- Communicates with various departments on special needs or customers, shortages, and priorities
- Prints and distributes pick sheets
- Monitors and responds to emails for information on priority shipments, document requests, shipping updates, etc.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- One year of experience in a shipping-related environment.
- Knowledge of shipping paperwork procedures.
- A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
- This position requires fully developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to problem solve and to build inter-departmental relationships.
- Individual must be able to remain calm in difficult situations and be comfortable with a fast paced environment.
- Ability to organize and prioritize with great attention to details and accuracy.
