Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Salary: Based on experience

Schedule:Monday - Friday & Weekend Availability 7am-5pm

Position Overview:

We are looking for an innovative individual that can track, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area. Promptly unloads trucks and deliveries and sorts and stocks receivables. Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operates types of company vehicles according to established safety procedures
• Assist in physically moving incoming items to designated storage areas and supervise storage activities
• Knows, understand, and follow bakery safety rules, policies and procedures
• Retrieve requested products from warehouse
• Input all shipments into the computer
• Count items to ensure that the correct number have been received
• Coordinating, loading, and unloading shipments and receipts
• Able to 50 lbs. regularly, operate pallet jacks (both powered and non powered) and enter data into a computer
• Accept and perform deliveries as needed daily
• Load and unload freight using manual pallet jack
• Break down pallets / take out cardboard and wrapping material to trash bins
• Ensure that stocking, staging and storage areas are safe and clean
• Replenishes locations multiple times daily to ensure product available for daily production
• Complete daily inspections and documentation/check sheets on equipment and trailers
• Ensure accurate order picking and shipment loading

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 1-year warehouse related experience
• Ability to drive forklift (certification is preferred)

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must possess the ability to stand/walk for 8 hours or more
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred but not required
• Ensure inventory is stored in line with agreed quality / regulatory compliance.
