We are looking for a QA/Shipping Tech to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in a fast-paced environment.

The QA/Shipping Tech is responsible for inspecting every product produced by our Embroidery Department. This includes making trims and adjustments as needed to ensure that the end product meets our established quality standards. This position also ships and receives goods through our established processes for various areas of the company.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Accept and verify incoming shipments to ensure that they match what was ordered.

Label and organize incoming shipments so the shipments are accessible to our screen print and embroidery teams when they are ready to move into production.

Assist with preparing blank goods for embroidery production by removing unneeded packaging materials and staging those goods on carts.

Hands on inspection of embroidery garments in the finishing stage and coordinating with members of the team to ensure timely workflow in the finishing process.

Oversee outbound embroidery shipments following our established processes. This includes verification of documents, preferred shipping method and timely delivery.

Works with Customer Service team when necessary. This includes providing information such as receipt/deliver confirmations, status of orders, and tracking information. In addition, this position works with Customer Service with preparing and shipping out vendor returns.

Assist with large fulfillment orders, working with the COO and other staff as necessary to ensure staffing for picking, pulling, packing and shipment of those orders.

Maintain inventory of basic shop supplies, janitorial supplies and office refreshments for the company. This includes placing orders and scheduling delivery or picking up those items.

Keep work and break areas clean and organized. This includes cleaning out the refrigerator on a regular basis.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with Microsoft Office with decent keyboarding skills.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Valid CA Driver’s License with proof of insurance.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.

Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.

Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
