Job description

Basic Purpose and Objective

Responsible for the generation, distribution and finalization of all documents. Works with the Shipping Supervisor to coordinate and distribute workload. Support the efficient flow of all process in the Distribution Center.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

· Coordinate the distribution of Load Sheets and Line-up Reports

· Communicate shortages or changes with Customer Service/Planners

· Create and print shipping documents with all corrections (Bill of Lading,

Custom Papers and Master Bills)

· Provide necessary certifications for shipment/shipping

· Finalize shippers

· Transmit A.S.N.’s to customers (EDI, portals and fax)

· Communication and customer assistance required during off-shift hours

· Assist Shipping Supervisor

· Coordinate and distribute workload to shipping personnel

· Provide vacation coverage on other shifts

· Perform cycle counts and inventory analysis

· Maintain key metrics in the Distribution Center

· Support department with many types of JDE Transactions

· Implement and maintain processes with our off-site logistic partners

Education Required

High School graduate with some college preferred in specifically related courses

Experience Required

Working knowledge of Future 3 Automotive Release software. MS Office and internet skills. Experience interacting with OEM and Tier customers. Experience with analyzing and distributing workload.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Chesterfield, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Shipping & receiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
