Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Shop Assistant whose main purpose is to provide in house support for our Shop Manager. Our ideal candidate is a smart, positive, solution oriented individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:

- Assembly of large and small highway signs.
- Unload and Process deliveries in a quick and efficient manner.
- Inventory and organization of highway sign parts and shop tools.
- Assisting our field crews with the loading and unloading of Boom and Bucket Trucks
- Assist with various projects as needed.
- Follow and enforce basic safety guidelines
- Keep waste to a minimum
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand during entire 8 - 10 hour shift.
- Demonstrated ability to lift, carry and/or move up to 50 lbs. continuously during entire 8 - 10 hour shift.
- Demonstrated ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs. continuously during entire 8 - 10 hour shift.
- Demonstrated ability to bend, stoop and reach repetitively during 8 - 10 hour shift.
- Ability to work in a production environment; e.g. noise levels, pace, chemical fumes, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
