Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking a talented Section Manager for the Sensor Systems Analysis and Engineering (SSAE) Department to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. We have offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific, and manufacturing solutions.
You will be a part of a diverse team primarily focused on electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) modeling and simulation (M&S) efforts. Specifically, the section in focus specializes in simulation and analysis of EO/IR threat and sensor systems for use in making important defense decisions and understanding system performance and capability. In addition, you will demonstrate experience in and/or enthusiasm toward developing a broader technical capability to support overlapping engineering and scientific disciplines. Candidate will be required to support multiple tasks in parallel, productively contribute in and lead team environments, and communicate effectively to management, employees, coworkers, and customers.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, engineering physics, mathematics, physics, or an equivalent engineering or scientific degree with demonstrated EO/IR M&S experience.
2-10 years technical experience.
Work to be performed in an expansion of existing capabilities in the EO/IR M&S field.
Active DoD security clearance.
Must be residents of the North Alabama area OR willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
Other Qualifications
Preferred candidate should be highly organized with excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to manage tasks as required.
Preference will be shown to qualified candidates who have demonstrated technical background in the following areas:
- Missile hardbody and/or plume physics and signatures
- EO/IR sensor system operation
- Computer-aided design (CAD)
- Heat transfer
- Fluid Dynamics
Preference may be shown to qualified candidates who currently hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
Security Requirements
Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.
