Role Summary

Our client recently stood up an SRE Center of Excellence (CoE) within their data organization and is hiring an additional SRE III or SRE Lead to join this team. With this being a CoE, candidates must have well-rounded SRE experience to be able to support their maturity roadmap for SRE. This role will require high internal collaboration as well as partnering with SMEs and Product Owners to determine strategies and solutions. This role will be a mix of hands-on technical and strategy.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong experience as an SRE- must have experience with multiple areas within SRE outside of just observability, automation, and incident management. Some of the other SRE areas we are looking for are: chaos engineering, circuit breaking, demand forecasting, capacity planning, change management, SLOs/SLIs/SLAs, predictive analytics, etc. (All are not required, but should have broad SRE experience)
• Experience with multiple (not all required) technologies listed here: Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, Azure App Insights, Azure Monitor, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, PagerDuty
• Experience supporting a Data Engineering/Data Platform team is highly preferred, or experience supporting Azure data services: Databricks, CosmosDB, Azure Data Explorer, Azure Blob Storage, etc.
• Cloud experience, specifically with Azure. Additional AWS experience would be a plus.
• Must have great communication skills as this role requires high internal collaboration.

Other Details

This role requires candidates who are able to convert full-time without sponsorship. Candidates must work CST hours and live in the US.
