Skilled Project Laborer

Bierlein is a family owned and operated company, providing a full line of demolition and environmental services. Our headquarters in Midland, MI is seeking qualified candidates to join our team of Laborers, Millwrights, Riggers and Environmental laborers. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform various manual duties pertaining to demolition and cleaning operations in chemical and other industrial facilities
• Adapt to weather conditions and work in hot and cold environments
• Complete tasks while wearing a respirator and other necessary personal protective equipment
• Maintain a safe worksite through housekeeping duties
• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Abide by company, state, and federal rules, and safety regulations
• Be motivated and work productively

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to pass a physical, drug screen, hair screen, breathe alcohol screen, and background check
• Able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs
• Able to wear a face sealing respirator

PREFERRED (but not madatory) EXPERIENCE:

• Torch Cutting
• 10-hour OSHA Training
• 40-hour HAZWOPER Training
• Asbestos Training
• Forklift, Aerial Lift and Power Tool Experience
