Social and Digital Media Strategist

We are looking for a qualified Social and Digital Media strategist to join our team. The Social and Digital Media Strategist develops and implements a comprehensive social and digital media strategy, aimed at increasing traffic, engagement, and brand awareness across digital touch points for our clients.

As a Social and Digital Media Strategist, you should have excellent multitasking skills and be able to handle social media/digital accounts in a cohesive way. If you are creative and have ideas about how to present a brand on a multiplicity of social media channels and digital platforms, we would like to talk to you.

Strategist Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving growth opportunities and strategic branding through data-driven digital marketing and social media strategies.
• Bring fresh thinking to programs across organic social media, paid social media, email marketing, blog, and paid search.
• Lead strategic objectives and leverage agency resources to meet goals.
• Support the development of compelling stories and experiences for interactive content across web, social and mobile platforms.
• Monitor social media and digital space to gain insights and analytics on sentiment, topics, conversations, and influence.
• Create editorial calendars and support concept development of big ideas.
• Work with account teams in the development of Creative Briefs that inspires content creation.
• Act as the client-facing voice at meetings and strategic sessions.
• Present to clients and process client input into actionable next steps.
• Review and approve all work of your direct report before it goes in front of the client.
• Accountable for analytical and performance reports.
• Identify areas of improvement.

Strategist Qualifications:

• Three years of experience at an agency or brand focusing on social media and digital marketing.
• Hands-on experience using social media and digital platforms for brand awareness.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
• Ability to present strategies and campaign ideas to the client.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and analytical problem solving.
• Experience working with Sprout Social, Canva, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Associated Press Style Guides, or comparable technology with the ability to adapt quickly.

Location:

San Antonio, TX (this is not a remote position) must be willing to relocate and drive into the office daily.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
