We are looking for a Software Design Engineer 5 to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best-in-class service to our customers.
Our team is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join us in advancing the state-of-the-art in object detection and tracking using ML techniques in aerial and horizontal imaging. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting research using public benchmarks and proprietary datasets, applying findings on real customer data to deliver high-value and high-impact solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to move quickly from ideas to experimentation to product development
- Code in C++ and Python, debug across technology stacks, and work with the latest cloud and distributed services technologies
- Set up full CI/CD pipelines and ship highly scalable services, web applications, networked applications, or distributed systems
- Meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including US citizenship/green card verification.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong coding skills in C++ and Python and debugging ability across technology stacks
- Experience working with the latest cloud and distributed services technologies, including containers
- Experience setting up full CI/CD pipelines and shipping highly scalable services, web applications, networked applications, or distributed systems
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Active top-secret clearance is highly required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field
- Strong cross-discipline collaboration skills
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $130,500 to $155,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
