Job description
Position: Software QA Analyst
Location: 100% remote
Job Details:
- This contractor will be assigned development work in client's Enterprise Application Systems division which supports large scale applications used by finance and accounting, HRIS, Office of Research, and other administrative departments.
- SQA needs a software testing engineer with strong Java, Selenium, and TestNG experience to create automated tests.
- The individual should have experience in test planning, writing test cases from requirements, writing bugs, reporting test results, and manual testing.
Project details:
- Is the work on projects in flight or starting at beginning? Multiple projects in flight.
- Will they be the sole QA resource or one of #? This individual will be a sole QA resource reporting into a SQA supervisor and development team leadership .
- Work on multiple project assignments or one/few? Multiple small to medium sized projects.
Daily/Weekly responsibilities:
- Attend team meetings
- Attend requirements gathering meetings to determine replacement and future needs
- Write/update test automation scripts in Java to replace legacy test scripts
- Reporting of test progress.
- Writing test cases from requirements.
Must have experience:
- General SQA experience (2+ years)
- Selenium test automation in Java (2+ years)
Preferred experience:
- General SQA experience (4+ years)
- Strong Java experience. (3+ years)
- Strong Selenium experience (3+ years)
