Snapshot / What You'll Do:

The Software Support Engineer is part of the software application team that builds applications to solve industry needs. The incumbent assists with the programming and development of computer software including writing software code in various programming languages, troubleshooting issues with software applications, and performing unit testing of software components. Essential functions and basic duties include:

• Deploy Software on Cloud Platforms AWS and GCP
• Test software code and API
• Support mining of process data from information Technology (IT) systems and database
• Discuss functional needs and technical requests with client and communicate development scope with software developers
• Produce and maintain software/change documentation
• Provide software integration with new and legacy systems

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Dev Ops, or similar IT field
• Professional experience in programming languages including JavaScript, Typescript, R
• Working Knowledge of SQL and SQL Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Basic Knowledge and experience with JavaScript, Typescript, NodeJS, Python or programming language
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms AWS, GCP
• Knowledge of Git / GitHub code versioning tools
• Experience with at least one database management system
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and follow through
• Desire to learn new technologies
• Analytical skills and creativity
• Excellent in English both writing and speaking

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary ranges from $65,000-75,000 based on experience
