Solid Waste Specialist Marco Island, Collier County
Job description
Solid Waste Specialist - Screens, identifies, and monitors waste entering the landfill scale house operations while providing cashier and customer service. Performs daily maintenance of the landfill operations center. Weighs inbound and outbound trucks at the County’s landfills and inspects loads for potential hazards. Identifies all material types and ensures that the load is brought to the proper location/locations within the landfill for recycling, burial or diversion. Provides assistance to customers at the Solid& Hazardous Waste Managementfacilities
The purpose of this position is to screen, identify, monitor and assist with material entering the County's Recycling Center(s) and provide customer service as needed
Monday- Saturday schedule 7:45AM to 4:45PM ( Sundays OFF )
$17.31 Hour.
Work location is in Marco Island.
