$1500 Sign-On Bonus

Linwood School, a non-public special education program, serves students ages 5 - 21 in a small structured positive learning environment. We are seeking motivated and qualified special educators to work collaboratively with speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, a social worker, and behavior therapists to provide a comprehensive package of supports and services for our students.

Responsibilities:

• Fulfill case management duties for six or less students.
• Design individual and group instruction in the core academic subjects modifying curriculum to best meet the needs of students.
• Guide classroom team in maintaining and analyzing data to develop and implement Positive Behavioral Supports.
• Collaborate with the Linwood team and parents to design an IEP that best prepares students for their next steps.

Minimum Qualifications:

· MSDE Teacher Certificate in Special Education K – 8 or 9 - Adult

· Trained in the strategies of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

· Experience developing the practices of TEACCH.

· Trained in the implementation of task analysis and thorough data collection.

· Experience with error-less learning, no-no-prompting, PRT, and/or Natural Environment Teaching.

· Experience utilizing ABLLS-R or the VB-MAPP.

· Candidate must be able to pass a State and Federal Background check

· Candidate must be able to pass a drug test.

Salary Range: $50,000 to $85,000 Per Year
