Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical oversight about cases and service emphasis for the agency, in keeping with evidence-based practice.
- Assist in developing clinical content needs for training seminars and workshops for JCFS staff and assist in developing JCFS as a training institute for professionals in the community. Serve as a clinician providing consultation for staffing and/or meetings within outpatient behavioral health services and to other agency programs as needed.
- Provide direct supervision and oversight to assigned clinicians and identify outpatient behavioral health directors, including the assistant director of outpatient behavioral health
- Authorize and maintain necessary documentation within agency EHR.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Office admins regarding billing for clients being served by direct reports.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain budget for department in coordination with Ast Dir.
- Assist agency leadership on various projects/responsibilities as they arise.
- Monitor and coordinate with CQI to support partnerships and grants
- Shared leadership with Ast Dir with COA compliance
- Participate in agency committees for various projects
- Member of the Clinical Panel
- Performs related work as required or assigned.
- Represent JCFS and its programs in a positive manner to both internal and external contacts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology
- Current clinical license
- Five years of experience leading a community-based program.
- Five or more years of experience supervising staff.
- Knowledge of or experience working with people of all ages, in various modalities with a strong knowledge base of clinical theory and practice.
- Experience developing and implementing programmatic policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of or experience with developing and maintaining program budgets.
- Experience collaborating with or supporting programming within the Chicagoland Jewish community preferred.
- This position requires site visits to locations which may or may not be accessible by public transportation and needs a reliable method of travel which allows you efficiently reach different sites in the Chicago metropolitan area.
New hires would need to be fully vaccinated with 1 or 2 doses and booster and provide their card upon hire OR begin receiving the booster within 2 weeks of being hired and participate in weekly COVID testing until fully vaccinated OR provide documentation for an ADA or religious exemption and participate in weekly COVID testing.
