Job Description
Teledyne Princeton Instruments, a business unit of Teledyne Digital Imaging US, Inc, designs and manufactures high-performance CCD, sCMOS, ICCD, EMCCD, emICCD, and InGaAs cameras; spectrographs; and optics-based solutions for the scientific research, industrial imaging, and OEM communities. We take pride in partnering with our customers to solve their most challenging problems in unique, innovative ways.
Job Summary:
Seeking a Financial Analyst in our Acton, Massachusetts facility. This position will report to the Accounting Manager. Princeton Instruments manufactures Cameras, Spectrometers, and Optical components in their Acton, MA and Trenton, NJ facilities. They also have sales offices in Germany, Japan, France, and the UK. The accounting team in Acton, MA is responsible for preparing and maintaining the financial statements for all Princeton Instruments locations.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete responsibility for the monthly close including adjusting entries through to trial balance
- Preparation of reporting to senior management for its review
- Preparation and submission of financial data to corporate head office
- Process improvements
- Dealing with internal auditors/SOX compliance
- Ad hoc analyses
- Some involvement in current SAP implementation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 5-7 years experience
- Familiar with product costing
- Organized, good communicator, works well to deadlines
- Completes timely and accurate work
Citizenship Requirements
Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
