We’re in search of a Senior HR Generalist who is knowledgeable, flexible, motivated, and is a self-starter who is willing to jump right in to support our department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations across multiple States, especially knowledge in California.

What You Will Do…
- Assist in developing and executing personnel procedures and policies, providing guidance and interpretation for business operations across all States.
- Assist the VP of Human Resources with the management of FMLA, Leave of Absence, Workers Compensation and Unemployment.
- Ensure legal compliance of HR state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws and has the drive to update policies and/or procedures as required.
- Benefits administration, including employee assistance for general questions, benefit enrollment, 401k and all other employee benefits.
- Management of annual employee reviews process; as well as continued audit to ensure the current process is best in class.
- The ability to suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve the employee experience.
- Submit federal/state required compliance reporting and filings.
- Provide guidance to junior HR team members by fielding questions and workflow.
- Manage system administrator rights with various vendors.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field required
- 5+ years in HR, with progressive growth in role
- Must be able to communicate effectively with people – you will have excellent communication skills both verbally and written, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Experience working in multiple states, with experience in California is must!
- Microsoft Office and be comfortable learning new technical systems
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Proven experience working in an HR department
- Be a team player!
