Flexible Work Policy: The Sr Manager Replenishment Optimization has been segmented as Blended, meaning the work is a combination of onsite (2 days per week) and virtual (3 days per week). This position is based out of our corporate headquarters in Rosemont, IL.
The Senior Manager of Replenishment Optimization manages the Replenishment Center of Excellence team. This team is focused on supporting development and execution of best practice in all functions within the Replenishment team. This position will partner closely with all Replenishment functional teams and Cross-Functional partners to deliver Best-in-Class Replenishment tools and processes.
This role will serve as the Business Owner of our planning solutions and will represent the Replenishment team on development projects and prioritization in support of our long-range strategic plan.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Management

Manage the Replenishment Optimization team, direct reports include Managers of specific functions (Purchasing, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning/ Optimization); Ensures team accountability and manages performance appropriately

Recruits, hires, trains and develops team while driving company cultural beliefs

Coaches effective Problem Solving and Communication/ Presentation skills this team will be asked to be in front of the larger team as well as report up to senior leadership frequently

Center of Excellence

Collaborate with Center Fulfilment Group, Field Replenishment Group, Operations, Logistics, Category Management, Vendor Management, Suppliers, Human Resources, Finance and Sales to identify business needs, tool/process development and implementing One US Foods Way across the business

Defines and drives a continuously evaluated Segmented business strategy to drive optimization of results and investment

Drives continuous improvement mindset to assist in developing new strategies, tools and processes to achieve ever challenging business needs

Manages Process and Data Integrity activities to enable Replenishment processes

Manages Process Documentation, Training and Change Management support for current and future processes and tools

Program Management

Manages the Short-Range (1-2 Year) Replenishment Strategic Project Roadmap; identifying and managing projects and initiatives in support of the Long-Range Plan (LRP)

Provides Project Management for Replenishment Initiatives and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for non-Replen Initiatives and Projects

Ensures consistent documentation, management, and tracking of Replenishment projects and escalation of Project Risks and Status

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Training: Four-year degree or equivalent experience required
Related Experience:
-
Minimum 7 years supply chain experience required. Minimum 3 years prior management experience required.

Experience in application of advanced Supply Chain Planning management techniques and functions is required (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning)

Demand Management in the foodservice industry preferred
-
Strong Financial Acumen required (must be able to interpret sales data within the market)

Experience with Advanced Planning Systems and Tools (Blue Yonder/ JDA/ Manugistics) and Reporting (Tableau, WEBI) is highly preferred

Project Management experience is preferred
-
Experience with Microsoft Office products, advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to lead, train and coach a team in common processes and drive standardized planning methods to meet business goals

Ability to identify modifications to business practices to take full advantage of technology and process innovation

Must be extremely organized, analytical and possess highly developed written/oral communication, management, training, and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify and analyze problems, set priorities, and to recommend creative solutions; Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

Capable of building strong cross-functional relationships and understanding needs of internal and external customers

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to multiple levels in the organization to drive understanding, consensus, and action

Supply Chain experience and knowledge of business planning processes

This candidate will be a self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal supervision
