Job Scope

o This team will be creating a NextGen monitoring, Credit Risk application to help internal employees assess credit risk exposure for various LOBs across the bank. Will be transforming the experience for credit risk monitoring. The is green field development. The tool will used by thousands of users across the bank. Will be used by Sr. Level Risk stakeholders, but may also be used by Modelers that may need to access the data library. The tool will be used for data analytics and reporting. It will have a front end and will also have a data component. They will be taking 15 systems that are currently outdated and will be transforming them into one end to end solution. Currently 150 people are maintaining the 15 systems that exist today. The new system will not only replace the old system, but will have new business capabilities as well.

o 6 scrum teams are funded and dedicated to this effort. The manager is the Sr. Product Manager that owns the new product and he is hiring a combination of 3-4 Product Manager/Owners to help him work with the scrum teams. Of the 3-4 new Product Management hires, some will focus more on stakeholder interaction and writing the high level requirements. Others may be more in the weeds writing user stories with the scrum teams. The manager would ideally like someone that can do both Product Management and Product Owner work if possible and is willing to help out where needed. Can combine both discovery and execution, will own the product end to end, speak to vision, manager stakeholders.

o The Product Managers will interact with 25 SMEs on the business side to help design the new platform. They will also be working with the 6 scrum teams that will execute and the vision and requirements that the Product Managers and stakeholders define.

o Product Owners will deliver on back logs and stories.

o May sit down with architects and developers

Types of profiles that could work:

• Credit risk analytics experience form a big bank like JP Morgan or Bank of America
• OR someone that has worked at a fintech like Ramp, Encino, Brex, Affirm, Plaid, Blue Vine, Clearco, Capchase
• OR Data product manager or Analytics product managers, even if they aren’t working for a bank maybe a big tech company.
