LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a healthcare client in Oklahoma City, OK. A successful candidate will have a solid understanding of general ledger/corporate accounting and strong analytical skills. This direct hire position is fully remote and offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k match and more! Salary is $65,000/yr.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees payables, receivables, performs ledger work
• Analyzes financial data and provides recommendations
• Prepares and reviews assigned accounts in monthly balance sheet account reconciliation
• Documents financial transactions
• Follows internal controls to maintain financial security
• Summarizes current financial status
• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries
• Assists with budgets and audits; gathers necessary account information and documents
• Supports the team in answering accounting-related questions and any other help as needed by the accounting team
• Provides accounting support for acquisitions and mergers
• Reconciles financial discrepancies
• Identify and implement process improvements and strive to follow best practices
• Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Provides coverage for the team as needed
• Performs special projects and other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with computerized ledger systems and accounting software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and strong Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to work with a team and independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels in the organization
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
