Job description
The Staff Accountant is a highly collaborative role, that partners cross-functionally with teams across Bland Landscaping to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. This is an onsite position Monday-Friday from 8am to 5pm reporting to the Accounts Receivable & Contracts Manager.
What You’ll Do at Bland Landscaping:
- Receive, review, and verify billing data from different branches.
- Review client contracts for proper invoicing treatment.
- Generate client invoices and supporting documentation for submission to clients in a timely manner.
- Perform daily cash management duties including posting cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
- Identify delinquent accounts by reviewing reports and contact delinquent accounts to request payment.
- Research and provide resolution to accounts receivable issues and customer discrepancies.
- Support special projects as requested.
Required Skills
What You Need to Succeed
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries.
Required Experience
- Associate degree in accounting or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
