Staff Accountant/CPA: This position works directly under the supervision of BKP Partners and Managers performing general ledger maintenance, preparation of financial statements, preparation of corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary and exempt tax returns, preparation of sales taxes and business property tax statements, and payroll reporting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree
• Current licensed CPA or CPA Candidate
• 3 -5 years public accounting experience
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office
• Proficient in ProSystems Fx/ Engagement and Lacerte Tax Software
• Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines

Senior Staff Accountant/ CPA:A key element of this position is to support partners and managers with their tax engagements and work directly with clients preparing tax returns, providing tax planning and projections, as well as doing tax research and presenting appropriate solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree
• Current licensed CPA
• 5+ years public accounting experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office
• Proficient in ProSystems Fx/ Engagement and Lacerte Tax Software
• Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to multi-task and work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
