Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collect field data including air, soil, and groundwater samples, logging of soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells, site inspections, and oversight of contaminated soil excavations.
Manage subcontractors including drillers and waste transportation.
Provide Phase I and II support as needed.
Become thoroughly familiar with Atlas policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Geology
2+ years’ experience with Phase I and II ESAs, site characterization, soil remediation, subcontractor management, data collection and report writing.
Valid US Driver’s license.
Perform field work under limited supervision and in accordance with Atlas and Client safety protocols.
Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects to meet established project schedules.
40 hr. OSHA HAZWOPER certification, and current HAZWOPER refresher.

Technical Requirements:
Proficient in Word and Excel software programs.
Operate field equipment: water quality multi meters, PIDs, sampling and survey equipment.
Excellent skills in technical writing and verbal communications.

Other miscellaneous qualities:
Ability to travel up to 30%, mostly within Texas.
Desire to obtain relevant professional license (PG, PE) or certifications, if not already obtained.
Working knowledge of TCEQ and Texas RRC environmental regulations.
