Job Summary

$1000 sign on bonus ($250 at 3 months, $250 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year)

Guardian Angel Homes, an award-winning assisted living facility specializing in dementia and Alzheimer's care, is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Staffing Coordinator. This is a hands on non-office job, that includes Caregiving, Med passing and people skills. Come join our team, named Post Falls Chamber's 2021 Small Business of the Year!

Responsibilities and Duties

Job Requirements:

• Must possess a current Medication Assistance Certificate from a state-recognized medication assistance program.
• Must have prior experience (minimum 2 years) with passing medications and caring for elders with an outstanding work history record.
• Must be willing and able to work the floor as a care giver if unable to find coverage for any shifts and perform caregiving and medication technician positions across all shifts.
• Must be able to multi task in a high stress, fast paced environment.
• Must be able to communicate both written and orally in English'
• Assisting with new employee orientation as needed and coordinating training for new caregiving staff.
• Must be willing to take 24 hour call on a rotating basis. As well as any other tasks assigned by Administration.

• Must appreciate the holistic wellness approach and enjoy caring for those who suffer from memory loss.
• Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel.
• Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult situations.
• Must have critical thinking skills to solve problems, make on-the-spot decisions, and handle conflict when necessary.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check, and must provide references upon request.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
