Forge Forward is searching for a Storage Engineer for our Arlington, VA location. Requires US citizenship with TS clearance and current SSBI/T5 investigation. TS/SCI desired. Some remote work is possible.
This position requires a minimum 7 years' total experience with C4I systems with specific focus to design, configure, develop, integrate, test, implement, and sustain storage infrastructures. This includes maintaining fiber channel switches and SAN environments to meet customer storage requirements. Must have strong knowledge of storage for VMware solutions, cloud architectures, and virtualization engineering. Will document data center physical hardware designs, recommend hardware solutions compatible with existing storage solutions, and recommend long-term storage solution configurations.
Must have experience in VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and virtualized Windows servers including 2012R2, 2016, and 2019. Will assist in documentation and design of future requirements. Candidate will have privileged access and must meet Cybersecurity Workforce Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II requirements at a minimum.
Functional Responsibilities and Required Skills:
- Experience with storage solutions experience (netapp, VMware, Dell).
- Ability to independently troubleshoot technical problems by analyzing the problem and applying a methodology to resolve the problem.
- Provide technical assistance and training to end users.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
- Ability to integrate ideas and capabilities within client and corporate tools to improve processes and execution.
- Ability to collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
- Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
- Familiarity with Navy and Joint storage and networking architectures.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with VMware ESXi and MS Hyper-V.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2/2016/2019, Windows 10, and all common server and workstation applications.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science desired.
- Must meet IAT Level II certification requirements.
- Professional Level Storage Certification desired.
- US citizenship with TS clearance and current SSBI/T5 investigation. TS/SCI desired.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
