Job description
Master Center for Addiction Medicine is seeking a full-time Strategic Initiatives Analyst who wants to gain valuable hands-on experience in the field of project management at a medical practice. While experience is a bonus, this can be an entry-level position for the right candidate. If you have recently graduated or are making a career change into project management, this could be a great fit! The ideal candidate will possess drive, grit, and initiative. We are looking for someone who loves to jump in and problem solve without a great deal of oversight. The Strategic Initiatives Analyst reports directly to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Project Management and will work collaboratively with individuals and teams on all programs and projects the organization undertakes as we continue to grow.

Master Center for Addiction Medicine is a private, outpatient addiction medicine treatment center headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia. We have additional offices in Hampton, Gloucester, Chesterfield and are opening offices in other areas of Virginia. Our approach to addiction is comprehensive, evidence-based and individualized, drawing on every tool that has been proven effective: medical treatment, education, psychiatry, professional counseling, testing/monitoring and peer support services. The Strategic Initiatives Analyst supports Master Center in carrying out projects that will support Master Center’s mission and annual goals. The Strategic Initiatives Analyst reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Project Management. The Strategic Initiatives Analyst organizes, manages, and plans complex projects with a data focus for the organization’s research, development, and strategic initiatives implementation efforts. The Strategic Initiatives Analyst works with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Project Management, as well as executive management, senior management and department leadership to plan and implement growth and strategic initiatives.
OBJECTIVES:
- Manage current and develop new data visualization dashboards for Leadership and Department Managers.
- Produce excel worksheets on utilization, revenue, and other key performance indicators.
- Work closely with the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to export and integrate data with various software.
- When working on new strategic initiatives, coordinate and analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results.
- Achieve organizational goals while adhering to standards and best practices.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Microsoft PowerBi training and overview for new employees
- Update and Edit PowerBi users, permissions, source reports, data mapping, and development
- Run weekly and monthly utilization and KPI reports
- Research and develop workflow automations for greater operational efficiency
- Work closely with the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Project Management to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Conduct cost analysis, estimating expected costs, and maintain a budget for projects.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Acts as a liaison between departments, team members, and vendors or outside contractors.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.

Requirements

- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Trained and experienced with Microsoft PowerBi
- Spreadsheet development experience.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, Data Analytics, required.
- At least two years of related experience required.
- PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable.

Location: Glen Allen, VA; travel to other offices required occasionally and is reimbursed at the IRS Standard mileage reimbursement rate (minus home office commute)
Salary: $50,000-55,000
