POSITIONThe Studio Manager will be primarily responsible for driving studio memberships and sales, and leading a high-performing team. The Studio Manager will also develop a collaborative and positive culture focused on delivering a high-end boutique fitness experience. This role comprises 70-80% sales and retention and 20-30% staff management and studio operations.As Owners, we are seeking someone who is passionate about fitness and wellness, willing to learn and and excited to collaborate with us to build a long term sustainable business. This opportunity offers the potential to grow into a General Manager/Multi-studio Area Manager in the future as we will be developing multiple StretchLab locations in adjacent areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven sales leadership and management experience
- Sales experience is a must - fitness sales or membership-based business preferred
- Prior experience opening a studio highly preferred
- Ability to drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail
- Ability to work independently and take proactive action
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, on the phone and via email
- Professional, punctual and reliable
- Experience resolving employee and/or customer conflicts
- Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency with studio software (ClubReady), data management, revenue reports, attendance reports, Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs and Sheets), etc.
- Lead and coordinate initial and ongoing sales efforts (Presale pop ups, studio promotions and events, community outreach) to drive awareness, lead generation and new memberships - this will involve the first 3-4 months of the job
- Implement sales process to consistently schedule prospects into Intro class
- Launch and maintain initiatives to improve member retention
- Provide leadership, coaching and daily direction to a team of Sales/Member Associates and Flexologists
- Manage staff schedule
- Oversee hiring and training of staff
- Lead monthly team meetings to review progress against studio's key performance indicators and define go-forward areas of focus/improvement
- Organize trainings and team building activities
- Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring that studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
- Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio
- Enforce StretchLab policies and procedures
- Ensure all forms, administrative supplies, and studio literature is stocked and visible
- Any other duties as assigned
