Job description

Our organization is seeking a Camp Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic, experience working with children, and a sincere desire to help them develop and grow. He or she will be reliable, personable and an exceptional problem solver. He or she will be responsible for setting up and maintaining the camp site, planning fun and engaging games, teaching practical skills and providing the kids with a memorable experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a group of campers with supervision from more experienced counselors.
• Address the needs of campers, parents, and counselors.
• Communicate with camp administrators and parents regarding issues at the camp.
• Be responsible for the health, safety, and welfare of assigned campers.
• Respond to emergencies and administer first aid when necessary.
• Assign tasks to campers in a fair manner and supervise their completion.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
