Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Summer/ESY)

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who have a wide range of disabilities and needs, providing individualized instruction and support to help them reach their full potential. Details: Part-time; Start/End: 4 Weeks: July 10th - August 4th (Monday-Friday)- 8:00am-1:00pm.Interviews will be conducted via phone.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide individualized instruction and support to students to help them achieve academic and personal goals
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
• Use a variety of instructional methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution
• State certification in Special Education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work with students of all ages and disabilities

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Special Education Teacher preferred
• Experience working with students with autism, emotional and behavioral disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities a plus
