Corporate Resources is hiring for a full-time, permanent Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of our client in Huntley, IL.

Supply Chain Coordinator – Huntley, IL
$65,000 - $75,000 + full benefits including medical, dental, vision and annual bonus

Our company is a leading food distributor of fresh produce & specialty grocery items. Over the past 20 years, our growth has doubled allowing us to distribute across the Midwest. We are searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day inventory, supply chain operations and negotiate and facilitate relationships with vendors.

Requirements:

• Analyze and negotiate terms with vendors for the procurement of materials and services required
• Forecast and perform material management to maintain supply and inventory levels
• Place inventory orders, find the best cost-saving options for various modes of transportation, and track shipments to vendors
• Work with Supply Chain Manager in procuring all material for research and development, and utilize data to improve supply chain efficiencies
• Support the decision-making process for insourcing and outsourcing of products and work with shipping/receiving to execute fulfillment of sales orders
• Coordinate paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with customs and quality regulations
• Allocate inventory to the correct departments as it comes into the system
• Manage the flow of operations from ordering to fulfillment, including international and domestic shipments
• Track purchase order changes and revise documents related to materials required for distribution

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, purchasing, or logistics
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
• Proficient Excel skills required
• Experience in purchasing is a distinct advantage
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong supplier relationships
• Professional who thrives on a variety of tasks; ability to prioritize and take ownership of the requirements of the position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
