Job description

About Us

FMOL health system is one of the largest in Louisiana, with hospitals, clinics and physicians located throughout Louisiana and in Mississippi. In fact, we provide care to almost half of Louisiana’s citizens, and serve in Mississippi's largest metropolitan area. Because of our size and the partnerships we have with other local organizations, we are able to pool our resources and share cost and service efficiencies and learn from each other, thereby accelerating our ability to improve care and solve challenges. A part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System, St. Dominic's Hospital is consistently awarded for compassionate care, clinical expertise, leading edge technology and innovation.

St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital (St. Dominic Hospital), a 571-bed acute care facility in Jackson, Miss., traces its history to 1946, when the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Ill., purchased the Jackson Infirmary in the center of the city. The infirmary was the foundation for a health system that today includes the acute care hospital, a continuing care community, and a full range of outpatient and community services. St. Dominic Hospital employees contribute to community member welfare not only through the provision of health services but also via voluntary community service and by employee funded charitable contributions to many local organizations in need.
