Job Description:

• Supports systems and applications used to purchase material from suppliers.

Ensures the integrity of electronic supplier transactions that may include:

• parts definition, pricing, forecasts, orders, shipment and receipt of material, and some payment transactions.
• Supports all Supply Management processes for a unit or division through analysis of data and system capabilities in support of factory goals.

Duties:

• Responds to requests from a broad user group, performs system troubleshooting, analyzes system issues, and facilitates system modifications.
• May support multiple key business systems.
• Uses business systems and standard query languages to obtain, analyse, and interpret data to derive information in support of operational decisions.
• Initiates and implements changes to improve efficiencies of processes related to supply management.
• May participate on unit or enterprise teams to plan system enhancements.
• Trains users on system operation and assists them with solving routine and unique business problems.
• May assist with comprehensive training program.
• Identifies and recommends projects required to support new and existing material processes.
• Maintains system parameters to control access and prevent unauthorized transactions inclient business systems.
• May participate in audits.

Specific Position Requirement:

• Supports systems and applications supporting experimental parts management activities, along with high level process expertise to ensure alignment among partnering cross functional teams and within the Silvis Experimental Parts Procurement Group (EPPG) team.
• Provide leadership for EPPG team members executing assigned activities and facilitate process changes with data support as business needs evolve, acting as liaison for all stakeholders to educate and communicate needs.

Critical data supported may include:

• BOM configuration, design and order change control, parts definition, forecasts, orders, shipment and receipt of material as well as allocation of material to multiple projects.
• Supports parts management related processes for multiple units or divisions through analysis of data and system capabilities in search of efficient and consistent execution of all projects and builds as scheduled.

Duties:

• May support multiple key business systems. Uses business systems process knowledge to support efforts to obtain, analyse, and interpret data to derive information in support of operational decisions.

• May participate on unit or enterprise teams to plan system enhancements.
• Trains users on system operation and assists them with solving routine and unique business problems.
• May assist with comprehensive training program.
• Identifies and recommends projects required to support new and existing material processes.
• Maintains system parameters to control access and prevent unauthorized transactions in client business systems.
• Requirements:
• Excel Advanced
• Experience in a cross functional team environment.
• Comfortable with fast pace of work and changing priorities.
• Desire to learn, Strong written and oral communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Manufacturing/commodity knowledge
• SAP experience
• A Degree or equivalent experience
• Data Analytics experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $19.49 - $30.00 per hour
