A day in the life - Get ready to think big, work smart and shine bright!
- Work with a team responsible for managing the centralization of IT capital project business impacts, information governance of Distribution processes, policies, and documentation.
- Ensure formal consistency and adherence to cross-organizational and specific Distribution, Work Management, and IT capital-related projects and initiatives
- Support questions and activities coming into the helpdesk to ensure appropriate resolution for Region, Scheduling, Operations, and field personnel throughout Distribution
- Ensure user engagement and adherence by partnering with Work Management, IT, NextGen, and various stakeholders throughout Distribution supporting system and technology implementations to ensure all process changes, updates, and enhancements are developed, supported, communicated, and understood.
- Integrate new processes, streamline workflow, develop accurate and timely reporting and tracking of projects and presentations, and realize expected benefits in Distribution through formal and effective project management and oversight, including strategy coordination with various organizations, implementation plans, OCM and mitigations, and aligning organizational expectations.
- Build and strengthen working relationships with organizations across Distribution, Construction & Maintenance (DC&M), Central Design & Engineering (CD&E), Work Management, NextGen, IT, and others as needed.
The essentials
- Seven or more years experience leading or managing projects or programs.
The preferred
- Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree in business administration or related field and broad training and experience in managing key projects
- Technical knowledge and understanding of Distribution operations, business mechanics, policies, practices, and procedures
- PMP, PMI or related Project Management certification or Lean Six Sigma
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork, manage confidential information, drive change through influence, always works with integrity, and high level of self-awareness
- Demonstrated strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

- The position’s work mode is remote. Employee is able to work primarily at home or remote however, the employee may be expected to come to an SCE facility on occasion. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Hiring organizations can add further requirements related to specific jobs.
