The Ainsworth Nashville is looking for Support Staff, which includes Food Runners and Bussers. This is a critical role as the cleanliness of the restaurant and timeliness of our food making it to tables is a leading reason guests may return to a restaurant. The busser is also maintaining the up keep of the guest table which is vital in the dining experience.

Our bussers are responsible for the general cleanliness of the restaurant. You will be responsible for filling and emptying FOH dishwasher, cleaning & resetting tables, taking out trash, cleaning up spills as slips and falls can occur, sweeping/mopping restaurant floor, maintaining restrooms during and after service and events.

PRE-BUSSING - this is vital to the success of a service experience going well (always ask the guest if they are finished and if you may clear the table for them never assume they are done) this should be done in between appetizers and main courses as well as for cocktails serve as a liaison or back server to your server in your section. At times servers are running around and may miss a guest trying to get their attention. A guest may need a utensil, condiment, another cocktail, want to return or exchange their food/drink. As a busser you should immediately grab a server or manager and relay this message to ensure service goes well for this guest

OPENING & CLOSING DUTIES
depending on whether you're opening or closing, the duties may vary. These include
cleaning windows, floors, chairs, tables, banquets, party room, walls, restocking server busser stations. At the end of the night specifically: cleaning and restocking busser station for service the following day and letting your manager know if you're running low on any vital things such as, rags, sanitizer, cleaner, mop heads, c fold towels, paper towels for restroom, toilet paper etc.

Pay: $500.00 - $2,000.00 per week
