Surgical Services Scheduler
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Surgical Services Manager, the Surgery Staff Scheduler is responsible
CRNA staff scheduling and Surgical Services staff scheduling within the institution’s guidelines, assisting in finding replacement staff, and verifying time cards. This will include RN nursing staff, surgical techs, aides, SPD staff, surgical secretary staff and CRNA staff.

Education and Experience
High School diploma. Three to six months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong computer knowledge preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible to develop and maintain a surgical services staff work schedule, six weeks prior to the date of posting and an anesthesia worschedule for CRNA staff. This scheduler will be responsible to adhere to staffing guidelines, and create a work schedule, which will only require a quick review by the Surgical Services Manager and Anesthesia Manager for accuracy.
After posting the surgery staff work schedule for one week as draft, any necessary corrections are made prior to posting a final draft. From the final draft schedule, daily work assignments are made and posted after Surgery Manager review.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with all staff and mid-level providers.
When a staff person calls in for an unplanned absence, will provide assistance in the process of finding a replacement for that shift.
Reviews, codes, and verifies time cards for all staff with final approval by Manager.
