Mobile Vascular Physicians, MVP, is an industry-leader in vascular care. MVP focuses on prevention and healing lower extremity wounds and ensuring each patient’s vascular disease is managed properly so they can maintain or improve their overall health and avoid hospitalization and irreversible disease. What You Will Do:
- Secure and prepare all supplies required for vascular endovascular procedures
- Ensure the preparation and maintenance of the sterile field within the lab
- Prepare patient’s skin for treatment
- Position and re-position patient during procedures
- Help monitor patients during treatment
- Provide supportive care during the pre-operative phase
- Perform scrub functions
- Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies both for the Vascular Care Center and in the procedure room
- Collaborate with the Physician in order to provide optimal patient care
- Participate in opportunities of continuing education
What We Need In You:
- Certified Surgical Technologist or Tech in Surgery Certification preferred
- BLS – Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association required
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association preferred
- Physical, Vaccines and Titers: PPD/TB, COVID, Flu, Hep B, MMR, Varicella required
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served in the Center
- Demonstrate the knowledge of the principle of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific needs and to provide the care needed as described in the Centers policies and procedures
- Knowledge of instruments and surgical techniques; instrument and needle counts; isolation techniques and terminal cleaning of surgical instruments and rooms
- Demonstrate knowledge of specific technical surgical skills and Interventional Radiology skills preferred
- Demonstrate the ability to utilize recognized channels of communication
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships with patients, coworkers, and other health team members

PAY RANGE: $32.00-$42.00/hr depending on experience; ($30.00/hr if not certified)
